Only NACSW approved program for K9 Nose Work Instructors…

The National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW™) is dedicated to making high quality instructors available to students of the activity and sport of K9 Nose Work® through its Certified Nose Work Instructor Program.

CNWI™: Certified Nose Work Instructors are graduates of the instructor certification program (see sidebar for details), and can be identified by use of the acronym, CNWI, following their name. Instructors listed on this website are current in their certification and continuing education requirements unless otherwise noted.

CNWI operate as independent instructors and are not employed through the NACSW™. Each instructor determines how to structure classes to best meet the needs of his or her students, and may offer additional classes or teach the concepts of K9 Nose Work® in ways not described in the class descriptions section of this website. To find details on classes offered near you, find an instructor in your area and visit the instructor’s website.

ANWI™: Associate Nose Work Instructors (ANWI) are enrolled in the NACSW™ instructor certification program and have demonstrated their commitment to teaching K9 Nose Work® as developed by the founders of the activity and sport. If you are unable to find a CNWI in your area, then enrolling in classes with an ANWI will ensure that you receive teaching in the activity and sport of K9 Nose Work® that meets the standard of excellence set by the NACSW™.

Any person using the CNWI or ANWI designation without permission is not recognized or supported by the NACSW™. If you are uncertain of the authenticity of a K9 Nose Work instructor’s credentials, please contact the NACSW™.
